After making a post-pandemic comeback last year, Anime Expo made yet another return to the Los Angeles Convention Center, and folks from all over the world came together over the long, Fourth of July weekend to celebrate all things anime!
While some of the annual convention's biggest draws include exclusive merchandise from big-name anime studios, panels, premieres, and a well-stocked artist's alley, one of the main reasons people attend AX is to show off their cosplay looks — and the folks this year didn't disappoint.
It's the middle of summer right now, and AX cosplayers definitely brought the heat for 2023.
Scroll through to see some of our favorite cosplay looks! And for more information on Anime Expo, make sure to visit their official website and follow them on Instagram and Twitter. (All photos by Carlos Ermac.)
