PHOTOS: See the 2017 Key West Cocktail Classic Sweeps Winner in Key West

From January through May 2017, OUT readers and Stoli Key West Cocktail Classic event attendees entered for a chance to win a trip for two to Key West to attend the 2017 Stoli Key West Cocktail Classic Finale. The sweepstakes winner, David Querusio from NYC, and his guest Kristen shared a few pics from their trip.

Here's what David had to say about his Key West getaway:

After arriving at Key West and settling into the welcoming Chelsea House Hotel, my friend Katie and I were ready to hit the beach. We walked to the Southernmost Point Buoy and checked out the nearby beach (where playwright Tennessee Williams used to swim for inspiration). As soon as we stepped on the sand it started to downpour, but that didn't stop us from sprinting into the water to celebrate our arrival.

We spent the night out at Side Bar to watch the 2017 Stoli Key West Cocktail Classic Elimination Rounds with stunning performances from gymnast duo Luna Storm and pop star Kym Sims.

The next day we checked out Higgs Beach, where we basked in the sun and checked out the nearby Key West AIDS Memorial. That evening, we nursed our sunburns and celebrated the finale of the 2017 Stoli Key West Cocktail Classic outside Bourbon St. Pub on Duval Street.

We were thrilled that fellow NYC resident Kayla won with her awesome drink 'The Cat's Meow' (and that she played for Planned Parenthood).

Sunday was devoted to more sightseeing -- my favorite part was touring the Ernest Hemingway House and hearing about the literary history of Key West, plus petting his Polydactyl cats. Thanks for a great trip!
