Trump's Typo-Laden Rant Makes Twitter Pledge Allegiance to RuPaul

Welcome to the RuPublicans.

Another day, another terrible, typo-laden Twitter tirade from 45. But the president's latest fuck-up has a twist that may not be so much of a drag after all.

Donald Trump tweeted Wednesday morning to rail against the House of Representative's ongoing impeachment inquiry, claiming the GOP is united against an "infair Process." [sic] When he immediately followed to defend his widely-denounced call with Ukraine's president, Trump had strong words for his party's leaders. ...Or did he?

"Rupublicans," he wrote, "go with Substance and close it out!"

The "Rupublicans" stood up in force, but they aren't pledging allegiance to Trump. Instead, they're turning out in droves to endorse the party leadership of a certain American drag superstar: RuPaul.

Fans and others had a field day with the Trump's gaffe, dunking on the president's tweet with declarations of devotion to the RuPaul's Drag Race matriarch.

Soon after #RuPublicans began trending on Twitter -- with searing political criticism and grammar jokes alike -- the queen herself entered the fray.

"JOIN The RuPublican Party!" she tweeted.

It's a golden gimme from Trump that comes only a week after RuPaul announced the her new spinoff RuPaul's Celebrity Drag Race. The four-episode series will 12 feature famous faces who undergo a drag transformation with the guidance of a Drag Race alum and the keen eye of Ru herself. Hopefully, there are no RuPublicans in that mix.
