The popular web series Derek and Cameron (directed by Brandon Blinn) premieres tonight on Here TV, America's only premium LGBT network, with a never-before-seen 25-minute episode.
Here TV has redeveloped their acquisition of the series, which has been online since 2013. John Mongiardo, the SVP for Programming Operations at Here TV, expressed his enthusiasm for the show's move onto television.
"Here TV is very excited to be working with Branden Blinn, a genuine and talented show creator. Our collaboration brings a new, exclusive episode of Derek & Cameron to the Here TV audience, presenting romance and sexual fluidity in a provocative TV series format."
The show's creator, Brandon Blinn, shared a similar sentiment:
"I am excited to be working with Here TV as it demonstrates their capacity to expand their audience. Their programming team has been insightful and trusting, allowing me full, creative expression. My hope is that we together can bring forth something far reaching that will represent the broader LGBTQ community."
Derek and Cameron follows an unconventional romantic relationship between a gay and bisexual man, and stars Thomas Adisi (Derek) and Brandon Crowder (Cameron), as well as Gregory Shelby, Mathieu Forget, Samantha Stewart, and Julia Kellis.
