WATCH: Ian McKellen Impersonates Maggie Smith

As is made clear in Downton Abbey, Maggie Smith is no stranger to the art of throwing shade. But Smith better watch her back because Ian McKellen read her to filth last week at LA's Fine Arts Theatre.

In his monologue, "Women I've Filmed With," the Lord of the Rings actor shared his favorite anecdotes about Smith, complete with impersonations of the actress. Whether she's questioning his taste in jewelry or refusing to do another take, she's a force to be reckoned with.

"Let me tell you a bit about Maggie Smith," McKellen said. "Maggie's got a tongue on her."
