Nicole Kidman last worked with John Cameron Mitchell on his directorial debut, Rabbit Hole. That dark film adaptation of David Lindsay-Abaire's Pulitzer Prize-winning play was difficult for many audiences to stomach with its dark subject matter. But now it seems JCM is ready to tackle something a little more in line with his Hedwig stage and film roots, and it includes Kidman looking very Bowie.
His newest project, How to Talk to Girls at Parties, is based on a 2006 science fiction short story by Neil Gaiman and is about an alien named Zan (played by Elle Fanning) who visits Earth and meets two teen boys. Together they explore the British suburb of Croydon during London's late 1970s punk era. We're not quite sure of Kidman's exact role as of yet, but she was spotted on set wearing plenty of punk hardware and white wig that made us gag. See more photos here.
