I don't even know where to begin because the joy is too much. Diane Keaton, Goldie Hawn and Bette Midler--the stars of the greatest film of all time, The First Wives' Club--are reuniting for a feature film on Netflix.
Sadly, it's not the long-awaited sequel, but it sounds almost as good. According to Deadline, the three legends will star in Divination as "members of a once-popular singing group forced to reconnect after their volatile split and 30 year estrangement."
That sounds basically perfect. I mean, is there a finer moment in cinema than Bette, Goldie and Diane decked out in white suits, belting out Leslie Gore's 1963 hit "You Don't Own Me" and shuffling down a cobblestone road into infinity?
If Netflix was a person I'd kick Angela Merkel off the cover of Time right now.
