Madonna Releases New Video On Snapchat, World Shrugs

Madonna Looking for Love

Madge is 'Living for Love' in all the wang places.

Queen of Pop Madonna proved once again that she's in tune with what the kids are doing these days and released the video for "Living for Love," the first single from her upcoming album Rebel Heart, on Snapchat.

Yeah, that thing with all the dick pics. But the $10 billion picture messaging app is moving beyond the peen-selfie to include music videos -- and Madge is leading the way. "Living for Love" debuted on Snapchat's "Snap Channel" yesterday and the Internet has wasted no time in weighing in.

Let's just get something out of the way. Madonna's great. One of the best. Without her, pop music wouldn't be where it is today. Take that as you will.

That being said, the pop culture landscape has shifted since she two-stepped out of Michigan and she's shifted along with it. Some may call it desperate, but what's a 56-year-old pop icon supposed to do? A Vegas residency where she parades out her old hits for two hours three nights a week and rakes in more money than a mid-size Eastern European country?

No. I mean, that'd be great, but that's not Madonna. She's going to be relevant whether we want it or not.

Speaking of relevance: the Grammys. Madonna will perform at the annual awards show on Sunday in anticipation of her previously leaked 13th album, Rebel Heart, officially out March 10.
