Ed Sheeran Brought T-Swift’s Backup Dancers to Atlanta's Gay Strip Club — But Left Out Taylor

British musician and red-hot ginger Ed Sheeran told BBC Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw that he brought Taylor Swift's backup dancers to Swinging Richards, an Atlanta gay strip club.

Back in 2013, when the grammy nominated brit was supporting Swift on her Red Tour, Sheeran was hanging out with T-Swift's backup dancers quite a bit. When one of the dancer's birthdays rolled around, Sheeran decided that he ought to emcee the celebrations and arranged for the whole crew to go to Swinging Richards.

"I took all the background dancers to a gay strip club on the Red Tour," Sheeran said. "I wanted to go to Swinging Richards. I bought the dancer whose birthday it was, I bought them some dancers."

It seems that the experience was revelatory for Sheeran, who was surprised to discover that the strippers were all straight. "I found out all the dudes in there were straight and they were making cash! PS50 a time, and they were just paying for college," Sheeran said.

Swift said she was a sad that she missed out on the night. "He just didn't invite me," Swift added. "He told me about it the next day, and I was sadsies."

Sheeran countered with a different version of events, saying that Swift went home for the evening. "We were in Atlanta so you went down to Nashville which was really close," said Sheeran.
