Dress? Check. Tiara? Check. You're Ready!
Now that your look is on point, you need tickets for the 29th Annual Night of a Thousand Gowns on April 11 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. This event is a unique one on the queer social calendar, for the sheer glamour and OTT-ness of it all.
Grammy-award winning R&B icon Jody Watley will perform, and honorary chairs Dionne Warwick, Debbie Harry, and Candice Caine will be be holding court.
The creative black tie event (dinner, a show, and a coronation ball) is produced by The Imperial Court of New York, and all proceeds go directly to the beneficiaries, The Center and The National Gay & Lesbian Task Force. In its 29-year history, the Court has donated millions of dollars to worthy LGBT direct service groups, HIV/AIDS-related causes, homeless LGBTQ youth, and LGBTQ youth enrichment programs.
For tickets, contact honorary co-chair AFruitFli here. And dry-clean that taffeta, darling. Never Woolite.
