Apparently Simon Cowell's absence from the reality TV judging panel has left a void that the universe needs to fill. On Sunday's episode of The X Factor New Zealand, Natalia Kills and husband Willy Moon went on a rant that made some of Cowell's worst jabs look like encouragement.
After Joe Irvine's performance, he was patiently waiting for the judges' critiques when Kills immediately laid into him for his outfit, asking if he had "any value or respect for originality," going on to say it was "disgusting" and that it was "artistically atrocious." Not one to be deterred by a booing audience, Kills continued on relentlessly, being joined by her husband who likened Irvine to Norman Bates putting on his mother's clothes before he murdered everyone.
The look in question - a skinny suit with a styled side-part hairstyle can be seen on any fashionable man in the last two years, so Kills' anger seems unreasonable.
Of course you've heard of Kills and her husband. No? Well Kills is best known for her 2013 singles "Saturday Night" and "Problem," and married Moon, who had a song used in an iPod commercial in 2014. Now they've found themselves out of a job, having their statements called "completely unacceptable" in a release that preceded their firing.
