WATCH: The Trailer for the Amy Winehouse Doc

Like so many musical legends before her, Amy Winehouse tragically passed away at the age of 27.

Now, four years after her passing, we get an intimate glimpse into the life of the talented, yet troubled, singer.

Directed by BAFTA-winner Asif Kapadia, who also made Senna--a documentary about the late Brazilian motor-racing champion Ayrton Senna--AMY will feature interviews with her ex-lover Blake Fielder, Mos Def, and her producer Salaam Remi.

The film releases July 3 in the U.K. No word on a U.S. release date.
