WATCH: Jennifer Hudson Does Carpool Karaoke with James Corden

After being accompanied by Mariah Carey in what looked like one of the best commutes of all time, James Corden gave Jennifer Hudson the same treatment -- picking her up and chauffeuring her around for a bit while playing some of her greatest hits.

JHud gives us everything: water bottle microphones, singing to passing busses, belting out a drive-thru order, and even giving props to her recorded self. Corden does as much as anybody could trying to sing next to her, which isn't a lot. Of course they finish with Hudson's Oscar-snatching performance of "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going," which she still slams like it was 2006.

If the freshman host of The Late Late Show can make future "Carpool Karaoke" sketches half as good as this one, we have a long list of people we'd like to recommend.
