The same story will be told from Christian Grey’s point of view.
E.L. James, author of the wildly popular Fifty Shades series, announced today on her Instagram account that a fourth book, GREY ,will be published on June 18 --Christian Grey's birthday-- and retell the story from the character's point of view.
"Christian is a complex character," James said in a release, "and readers have always been fascinated by his desires and motivations, and his troubled past. Also, as anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows, there are two sides to every story."
Two questions: Can we do without an "inner goddess" equivalent for Christian, and does this mean we'll get more Jamie Dornan? Fingers crossed.
