Chris Hemsworth Joins Female-Led Ghostbusters Remake
According to Variety, Aussie heartthrob Chris Hemsworth has joined the cast of Paul Feig's Ghostbusters reboot.
Hemsworth will be the gang's receptionist, a role originally held by my style icon, Annie Potts.
The trade paper reports that Hemsworth was approached earlier in the process, but he passed because the role was too small. Sony has since beefed his part.
Production on Ghostbusters starts later this summer. It hits theaters next summer on July 22, 2016.
Hemsworth will be joining Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones.
I don't go out of my way to court the paranormal, but if Chris Hemsworth were answering the phone, I'd move into that house from The Amityville Horror.
