ICYMI: Rachel Maddow Giggles Her Way Through Story About Homophobic Televangelist

Rachel Maddow was all smiles last week while reporting on a story during her NBC show, and with good reason. Maddow was talking about Franklin Graham, who inherited an evangelism empire from his father, the reverend Billy Graham, and his outrage at a recent Wells Fargo ad that depicted two women learning sign language in preparation to adopt a hearing-impaired daughter. Graham went on a Facebook rant and vowed to take all of his money of out Wells Fargo - and he did just that.

Graham transferred his money from Wells Fargo to BB&T, a bank, as Maddow, a Power List alum, laughingly puts, "is so much gayer." BB&T is a platinum sponsor for Miami Beach Pride, supports same-sex couples in long-term relationships, and even had a chapel built at one of their branches so a same-sex couple could get married.
