Conchita Wurst Graces Cover of Rolling Stone Germany (Topless)
Wurst embraces her gender fluidity by going topless.
Conchita Wurst, Austrian drag performer and winner of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, just blew us--and the entirety of Germany--away with a flawless (and topless) cover on German Rolling Stone.
Known for breaking barriers when is comes to gender fluidity and expression, the cover story is titled, "Take the Plunge! Conchita is living the difference." Wurst recently tweeted about the opportunity describing it as an "honour".
“To find myself on the cover of THE global music magazine is such an honour!!! ❤️ @rollingstoneDE #theunstoppables”— Conchita WURST (@Conchita WURST) 1435165799
Wurst explained that while acceptance and equality for LGBT people has grown, there is still more work to be done saying. In her own words:
"I think there are many people who have internalized tolerance now, who want to understand how other people live. But it's still a long way until we arrive..."
