When Laverne Met Caitlyn

Two of the biggest names and loudest voices in the trans community met over the weekend at long last.

Laverne Cox posted a picture to her Instagram alongside Caitlyn Jenner at a private advance screening of I Am Cait. The screening marked the first time the two women had met in public, though Jenner reached out to Cox beforehand, and the two have publicly supported one another across social media and in interviews.

Actress Candis Cayne was also at the preview of the E! docu-series, which premieres Sunday July 26. See Cox's Instagram pictures below.
