So You Think You Can Dance's former contestant and current choreographer Travis Wall has recently been nominated for his fifth Emmy in conjunction with the show. This nomination, however, has a little more weight to it--it's for a piece performed by last season's final four which featured the show's first portrayal of same-sex couples.
Wall, who is openly gay and happily partnered, took to Instagram after the debut of the piece on television last year, simply captioning the photo, #Equality.
Now, almost a year later, we finally do have what Wall was hoping for: equal marriage rights for all US citizens. He shared another post today showing his excitement about the nomination.
