Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of late icon Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown, died on Sunday at the age of 22, a representative from the Houston family reported.
Brown, who was the only daughter of Houston and Bobby Brown, was found unconscious six months earlier in the bathtub of her Georgia home, by boyfriend Nick Gordon.
While she was rushed to a hosptial afterward, doctors placed her into a medically induced coma, which would continue for about six months. Maternal grandmother Cissy Houston said Brown had suffered "global and irreversable brain damage."
Following her time at the hospital, Brown was taken off medication and moved to hospice care on June 24, where she was surrounded by family.
About one month-Sunday July 26-Brown passed away. In the statement, the Houston family addressed Brown's passing saying, "She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."
