They put an LGBT spin on some popular Bollywood tracks.
New Delhi, the capital of India, experienced its first LGBT flash mob and it was a hit, according to Pink News.
Organizers said that the flash mob was meant to help raise awareness regarding LGBT adversity in the country, which in recent years, has reinforced anti-sodomy laws.
The event took place at Connaught Place, a large financial and business center in Delhi, and attracted a number of surrounding participants.
The dancers at the event moved to a number of Bollywood songs and then, when the mob had come to an end, organizers and participants alike took part in an impromptu celebration.
One of the volunteers of the event, Annie Singhal, spoke about the overall goals of the first-time flash mob, saying, "We are basically trying to build an inclusive society. For that, someone has to step forward and initiate a dialogue. And we, the LGBTQ folks and the supporters are taking that step forward right now."
