The Absolutely Fabulous Movie Starts Shooting This Fall

The long-awaited, highly-anticipated, frequently-rehabbed Ab Fab movie has a finished script and will begin shooting this October, according to stars Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley.

"We are all there, the same old gang," Patsy Lumley told the UK's This Morning. "Lots of people you will have seen in it before, I think we are going down to the south of France to do some of the shooting there. It'll all be shot on location. It is going to be ravishingly funny! Very gorgeous... and completely fabulous!"

Earlier this year, Eddy Saunders expressed hope that they would film in the south of France if they had a budget and in the Bahamas if they had a "big budget." Well, at least they got France.

Saunders, who wrote the script, added that the plot will involve "virtually everyone that's ever been in the series." Meanwhile, Lumley says she might have to use a stunt updo since she's not sure her hair can take the grueling filming schedule.

"I usually use my own hair, and that's usually for one show a week in front of an audience," she explained. "But when you're shooting for seven or eight weeks every day, I think I'll give it a bit of a break."

Well, they can't all be great hair days.
