“You’re going to leave me all alone here with less-angry Rosie O’Donnell?”
After leaked test footage, a collective demand from the internet, and even a trailer for the trailer, the first trailer for Deadpool is here.
And who better to play the leading role in the first R-rated superhero movie than Ryan Reynolds? His natural gift of a dry wit lands all of the f-bombs we've ever wanted to hear other superheroes yell at their enemies, and make sure to watch for the sex scene peek (it's at 1:48).
A little background about Deadpool so you don't get confused when he and Weasel (T.J. Miller) have the back and forth about his disfigured appearance: He received accelerated healing from the "Weapon X" program, the same one that gave Wolverine his adamantium-coated skeleton. At the time he entered the program because he had aggressive cancer and little to lose, but his newfound regenerative abilities made it so that not only could his regular cells not die, but neither could his cancer cells. This resulted in a face that looks like "Freddy Krueger face-fucked a topographical map of Utah."
The film is slated for a February 2016 release date. What better way to spend Valentine's Day than with Ryan Reynolds cursing in a red superhero suit? Watch below.
