Who run the world? Keith Wilson.
Fact: Go to any black gay club in any part of the country on any day of the week and you'll see what amounts to auditions for the Miami Heat Dancers.
It's called good old-fashioned werq. So noted hoofer Keith Wilson felt right at home when he showed up to the Dancers' boot camp on August 2 -- even if he was the only dude in a sea of ladies.
Second fact: when Beyonce comes on, someone's going to die.
In this case, Keith Wilson ended every one's life during the freestyle round as soon as "Run the World (Girls)" strutted out the speakers.
"It was very simple and easy for me to catch the beat, catch the move and just milk it for what it was," Wilson told Buzzfeed.
Wilson, who unsuccessfully auditioned for the squad in 2012, made it all the way to the third round but ultimately did not make the squad -- probably because he was a dude in a sea of ladies.
"I do believe it was because of my gender and that the Heat is not ready for a guy right now," Keith said. "In due time they'll be open to it, though."
They better, or else....
As for any other male dancers who would dare to audition for an all-female squad, Keith has a simple bit of advice for them: "Go for it! Even if you get cut, it only takes one 'Yes' to make all the difference."
And one YAS to to go viral.
