After an awkward amount of absence when he was between his final days at The Colbert Report and starting his new gig on the Late Show, all we had of Stephen Colbert to tide us over were his face on subway walls and spread out advertisements for his new position.
Now, in about two weeks Colbert will grace our televisions again with his dry wit, clever references, and obscene Lord of the Rings knowledge. His guests have been revealed for his first handful of shows, and it's the type of healthy mix you'd expect from someone of his clout and position.
