Zayn’s Shirtless Selfie, Madonna's Hot Topic Cover Featured on Interview #ME Issue

Zayn Malik, Madonna

Also featuring Miley Cyrus, Victoria Beckham, Kim Kardashian West, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, and Mert Alas.

Interview magazine has rolled out its #ME issue, which features eight different cover subjects, all featuring a celeb selfie. We guess it makes sense for the mag founded by Andy Warhol, who would have an incredible (and incredibly annoying) Instagram account, no doubt.

A shirtless and sexy Zayn Malik shows off his tats on one, while on another Madonna seemed to be aiming for Lydia Deetz realness. Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian West, Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, and Mert Alas also feature in the magazine's quadruple split run.

The former 1 Directioner jumped ship from the band in March of this year and signed a solo contract with RCA Records in July. His first single hit the web less than a week after bidding Harry & Co. adieu.

While media outlets have been quick to embrace social media, it's not always a sure thing: Remember how Kim's selfie book flopped almost as hard as We Are Your Friends?

"Social media is where we live now, no question. And if Andy were still alive, he'd have a huge presence online," editorial director Fabien Baron stated in a release about the cover treatment. "In much the same way we at magazines put together a story and create a character or narrative, everyone can now package themselves as they see fit. Everyone can invent their own image and create their own story."

So will Interview's social media split run go viral or go bust (in 15 minutes or less)? I guess we'll find out together.
