The all-American boy is 'looking forward to a really fun evening' with a real American hero.
"All-American Boy" Steve Grand will be spending an evening with a real American hero, reports Towleroad.
The out music artist received a video invitation via YouTube Wednesday to accompany U.S. Marine Tanner White to the 2015 Marine Corps Ball in November.
"This video is for the all-American boy, Steve Grand. Steve, you are an amazing singer," White said in his video. "I've seen some of your blog videos and they were awesome. I would like for you to go with me to the 2015 Marine Corps ball in Wilmington, North Carolina, as my date. Hopefully you say yes. If not, it was worth a shot."

The Marine's invitation racked up more than 90,000 views since it was uploaded, and eventually made its way to Grand, who responded with a resounding yes in a video of his own.
"I want to say that I'm honored to accept your invitation to be your date at the Marine Corps Ball this November," Grand said. "Thank you so much for your service to this country, and I look forward to a really fun evening with you in November."
