New Carol Trailer Features Complications That Accompany Forbidden Love

Our first look at Ronney Mara and Cate Blanchett's period-drama, Carol, showed us the initial intrigue the women's characters had with one another.

Now, the film's second trailer goes deeper into the drama and complications that come with such a relationship in a time when it was taboo. Carol (Blanchett) has decisions to make regarding her husband and daughter, and Therese (Mara) seems stuck in the middle of all of it. We also get a peek at Sarah Paulson's character, Abby, who seems to be a confidant and friend of Carol. Watch below.
