Before she was, in fact, a 'primo lesbian.'
It was 2008 and Ellen Page was still known for her quirky depiction of a pregnant teenage girl in Juno. Although Page has become a voice for the LGBT community after her recent impromptu debate with Ted Cruz and her highly anticipated film Freeheld, her sexuality was merely speculation at the time.

That's why her appearance on Saturday Night Live that year was such a prophetic homage to her inevitable coming out. In the skit in question, she plays a young woman who discovers her sexuality at a Melissa Etheridge concert (where I assume most lesbians are born). Playing the perfect boyfriend, Andy Samberg promises to go gay, too. We're holding you to that, Samberg!
