We're four days deep in 2016 and of course you're eating healthier, going to the gym, and saving money. Unfortunately for you, John Oliver is here to remind you that if you haven't failed to keep your resolutions yet, statistically, you're about to.
To help you keep your resolutions, Oliver offers sage advice: lower your expectations. And he's not just talking about toning it down a bit, he means almost completely disregarding them. If that doesn't seem like your speed, he suggests raising them to unattainable levels, that way you won't feel bad when they never happen. Did you make a resolution to read more?
