Ellen DeGeneres Accepts Award While Showing Shirtless Chris Hemsworth

It's hard not to love Ellen DeGeneres. She's been a staple to numerous communities, providing aide during natural disasters, raising awareness for various causes, and of course just making people laugh.

That's why it's no surprise that she was honored with the Favorite Humanitarian Award last night at the People's Choice Awards. After an introduction by Melissa McCarthy and a moving video montage of Ellen's many acts of kindness, she took the stage and immediately turned the tears into laughter.

She so humbly acknowledged being referred to as "Mother Teresa of talk shows" and "Dalai Lama of daytime."

"I don't think you need to have a talk show to be nice to people, to do what I'm doing," she explained. "I just think that kindness is something that we should all have."

After giving a few inspirational words, she thanked the people... And then she showed a photo of Chris Hemsworth shirtless, because she's a humanitarian, dammit!
