Shannen Doherty Joins TV Land's Heathers Reboot

In the age of TV reboots, one '80s classic is set to make a big comeback. The 1988 dark teen comedy, Heathers is getting a reboot series thanks to TV Land. The new series follows Veronica (Grace Victoria Cox) in a modern day setting with a set of millennial Heathers, including a black lesbian Heather McNamara (Lisanne Falk) and a gender queer Heather Duke (Brendan Scannell).

In case you forgot, the original Heather Duke was portrayed by none other than pre-90210 Shannen Doherty. Doherty will return for the revival in a new role. The actress recently posted a production photo of herself, complete with red scrunchie.

Production is currently underway, but a premiere date has yet to be announced.
