Gabor was known for her over-the-top glamour and string of wealthy husbands.
The great glamour queen of the mid-twentieth century, actress and muse Zsa Zsa Gabor, passed away yesterday in Los Angeles due to heart failure.
Gabor had been known during her lifetime for over-the-top, self-aware affect and a string of eight or, by some reports nine, fabulously wealthy husbands, including hotelier Conrad Hilton, with whom she had her only child, Francesca, who died in 2015.
Zsa Zsa, whose birth name is Sari Gabor, was born in 1917 in Budapest. She married her first husband at the young age of 15, after winning and being disqualified from the Miss Budapest pageant for being too young. She and her two sisters, Magda and Eva, both deceased, left their respective diamond-studded marks in pop culture history.
Gabor is remembered by her final husband, Prinze von Anhalt.
