Kodak Releases Short Gay Tearjerker Understanding
The topic of acceptance never gets old.
Amid the DIY digital age, it's often difficult to remember the beauty of a 35mm film. Kodak teamed up with director Terry Rayment and cinematographer Kate Arizmendi to tell a beautiful story with a forgotten medium. The short film, Understanding, was shot with a KODAK VISION3 500T 5219.
The film features two teenage boys whose romance is revealed when a little sister walks in on them. As time goes by, tension appears to grow between father and son as neither seem to be discussing it. But a simple gesture like a photograph makes all the difference in this little tearjerker.
