Funko to Release Golden Girls Dolls This Year

Diehard Golden Girls fans will have another set of collectibles before the end of the year.

Though they didn't get the Lego set they wholly deserve, everyone's favorite geriatric foursome will be plasticized before the end of the year in the form of Funko POP! vinyl figures. Fans will no doubt recognize the petite, featureless, big-headed figures that are made for countless movie and television characters.

All we have to go off of so far is concept art in a Funko catalog, but Dorothy, Blanche, Rose, and Sofia all seem well-represented. The dolls don't have a concrete release date yet but will be available sometime in 2016. See the concept art below.
