Alex Newell Celebrates His Debut EP 'POWER'

No. 8 in New York welcomed the chic and trendy Thursday night in celebration of Alex Newell's debut EP, POWER. The venue was occupied wall-to-wall by stylish young women and handsome young men including America's Next Top Model winner, Nyle Dimarco. With black lights glowing and Stoli flowing, friends and fans eagerly awaited Newell's arrival.

He descended the staircase clad in all white, illuminated under the black light. Serenading the audience with "Stronger", a Clean Bandit song he contributed to, his voice vibrated off every inch of the room. With every high note he reached, the crowd applauded and cheered for more. He graced them with an encore, "Basically Over You (B.O.Y.)" from POWER. It was a perfect tease of the empowering upbeat repertoire that is his debut EP.
