Greg Berlanti Welcomes His Son, Thanks Robbie Rogers

Say what you will about Instagram, whether you think it's destroyed the art of photography or saved it, when it brings us glimpses at moments like this, it's wonderful.

Writer Greg Berlanti announced the birth of his son, Caleb Gene, over the weekend via Instagram. In the post, Berlanti said that "there is nothing I've wanted more, or waited for longer, than to be a father." Berlanti goes on to thank his family, surrogate, and boyfriend, soccer player Robbie Rogers. Rogers also posted a picture of the baby on his Instagram account, and Berlanti teased a picture of his then-unborn son's crib a week before the delivery.
