Jimmy Kimmel's Mean Tweets segment has steadily grown in popularity, and with the Oscars happening this Sunday, a movie star edition was in order.

Carol star Cate Blanchett--who stands to win her third trophy--and Eddie Redmayne of The Danish Girl--who hopes to snatch his second gold man in a row--were the featured stars to take a jab here. After reading about how he looks dehydrated all the time, Redmayne aptly responded, "I'm really thirsty!" Cate, however, wasn't the least bit amused to read about her "play-doh looking face."

But neither of these filmic lumnaries could hold a candle to Sean Penn's delivery of his own deliciously debaucherous tweet. The Milk actor deserves a third Oscar himself for being able to deliver it with such a straight ("scrotum") face...
