WATCH: Kelly Clarkson Brings Everyone to Tears on American Idol

Aside from pushing Justin Guarini through to the final round, American Idol really nailed it the first season. Kelly Clarkson is one of the best singers the competition has ever seen and the greatest to actually win the title of "American Idol." She can stay away for a few years then come out with a Max Martin power ballad and it's like no time has passed at all.

A "super pregnant and hormonal" Kelly returned to the stage that made her a star 14 years ago during the final season of American Idol to dig down into everyone's chest and rip out their still beating hearts with a very emotional song, "Piece by Piece."
