Mariah Carey is About to Become a Reality Star

According to US Weekly, the shadiest queen in all the land is strutting to our small screens.

The show will be called Mariah's Squad and will focus on the behind the scenes drama of Carey's Las Vegas residency and her upcoming European tour.

"The show is also about Mariah and the crew around her," a source told Us Weekly. "It's nuts. Mariah is very funny on camera."

The Christmas singer is great camera material. On American Idol, Mariah and Nicki Minaj provided one of the most memorable diva spats. Also, the absurd MTV Cribs episode featuring her bathing in champagne and almost tumble-drying her dog truly doesbelong in The Met.

The reports are a bit of a shock, though. The "Heartbreaker" singer previously threw some major shade towards reality divas, saying, "Today, you can be famous just from being on a reality, well, doing -- you don't really have to do much, but you kinda gotta do a lot," she said, not needing to name names. "And then your whole life is just about being a celebrity and that's what some people aspire to, because it's easy and because then everybody knows them and all they see is the bright side of fame."

Oh, Mariah.
