Now that The Big Short has saved us from the Ryan Gosling-shaped hole in our collective lives we can all get back to a better time when everyone's favorite nice guy was promoting multiple films a year and pleasantly impossible to avoid.

Enter The Nice Guys, where Gosling plays a private investigator in the 1970s, appropriate-era mustache included, and gets mixed up in a mob plot with Russell Crowe and Matt Bomer. Think of it as Starsky & Hutch but with less intentional slapstick and more, well, Ryan Gosling.
