Showtime announced the cast list for David Lynch's return to the small screen
Slated for an early 2017 debut on Showtime, the Twin Peaks series revival will feature an all-star cast with familiar faces and many, many newcomers.
Series original Kyle MacLachlan has been confirmed to reprise his role as the irreplaceable special agent Dale Cooper, and co-stars Laura Dern (who appeared in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, the movie pre-quel to the show), Sherilyn Fenn, Madchen Amick, Sheryl Lee, Dana Ashbrook, Grace Zabriskie, Miguel Ferrer, Russ Tamblyn, and the late Catherine E. Coulson (who played the town's Log Lady) will all have cameos in the new series.
Now, the network has revealed that Arrested Development's Michael Cera and Gossip Girl's Jessica Szohr, along with Tim Roth, David Duchovny, Ernie Hudson, Matthew Lillard, and Monica Bellucci will support Agent Cooper and the rest of the epic cast.
EW reports that the Walking Dead's Josh McDermitt and This Is 40's Charlyne Yi will also be featured, alongside previously-announced Hollywood stars such as Naomi Watts, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Amanda Seyfried, and Ashley Judd.
Director David Lynch is also rumored to appear in the show.
