In case you've missed it, America's Next Model winner Nyle DiMarco has been killing it on Dancing With The Stars.
The deaf model has been defying stereotypes on the relationship between non-hearing people and music. Although he's only able to use gestures to communicate, Nyle is fluent in body language, and he's giving the other DWTS hopefuls a run for their money, emerging as the clear favorite to win season 22 of the show.
However, the judges are trying to keep him on his toes and save the little bit of suspense there is left in the competition. For his latest performace, Nyle was transformed into Jim Carrey in The Mask.
The model was unrecognizable under a green latex mask:
He definitely has a good sense of humor.
Nyle and his partner, the pro dancer Peta Murgatroyd, re-enacted the unforgettable tango between Carrey and Cameron Diaz on "Hey Pachuco" by Royal Crown Revue, a key scene in the movie.
Surprisingly, the pair ended up tying for fourth place with a score of 25 out of 30 -- even though they got a perfect 10 in the previous week. The judges criticized Nyle for acting "too cocky," but that's actually quite a turn-on, if you ask us.
