Jessica Lange & Susan Sarandon to Play Davis & Crawford in New Ryan Murphy Anthology

Jessica Lange & Susan Sarandon to Play Davis & Crawford in New Ryan Murphy Anthology

feud

Murphy's third anthology series will be about famous feuds.

Fresh off the heels of Ryan Murphy's American Crime Story and all its '90s fame whore glory, the creative mastermind is taking on his third anthology series. This time, FX has greenlit Feud, an -episode series that will depict famous feuds.

What feud will Murphy take on first, you ask? Well before Britney Spears v. Christina Aguilera and way before Hilary Duff v. Lindsay Lohan, the mother of all feuds took place between the stars of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? behind the scenes. Joan Crawford and Bette Davis were the original divas and the perfect candidates for an epic tale of deceit, betrayal, and bitchery.

What supreme actress could pull off Joan better then Murphy's muse, Jessica Lange? She will costar with Susan Sarandon whose Bette Davis eyes are uncanny for her role. Also starring is Alfred Molina as director Robert Aldrich, Stanley Tucci as Jack Warner of Warner Bros, Judy Davis as gossip columnist Hedda Hopper, and Dominic Burgess as Baby Jane costar Victor Buono.

Production is expected to begin this fall for a 2017 premiere.
