Always Be My Shady: Mariah Still Doesn't Know JLo

Let's get one thing straight: Mariah Carey knows who Jennifer Lopez is. She does not, however, know her on a personal level. That was at least made clear on Watch What Happens Live, when the biggest fan of the Mimi-JLo feud--Andy Cohen--got out his shovel and once again started digging for dirt.

Mariah and her wonder twins were out in full force on last night's WWHL, where she insisted that she's not being shady, she's just forgetful. "Very forgetful."

Quote the diva:

"You know, I'm very forgetful...If I had never had a conversation with you and someone asked me about you, I would be like, I don't know him but he seems cool. Or, I don't know him."

So does JLo seem cool, Andy astutely asked. But that's when Mariah's (very selective) Alzheimer's flared up again.

She went on to explain:

"The question was about Beyonce. I was saying, 'I think she's super talented, she's a friend of mine, she's always been sweet to me, she's always been very cool.' Then they asked me another question and I was just like, 'I don't know her.' It's not like I don't know who she is, of course I do. That's not the question."

So there you have it. Mariah Carey is just very forgetful, likes Beyonce, and still does not know Jennifer Lopez--but not in a shady way. It's not her fault that she's been living in shade, having not seen the light of day since she had a vision of love, for nearly three decades.
