The Christian rock singer appeared on the talk show to share his family's reaction to coming out as gay.
Earlier this week, Christian rock singer Trey Pearson, frontman of the band Everyday Sunday, came out as gay in (614) magazine. He appeared Friday on The View to talk about his family's reaction to the news.
Pearson explained that his wife of seven-and-a-half years has been his "biggest supporter" through the whole event, and that when he told her, "she just hugged me and cried and said how proud of me she was."
