Comic Con Cosplayers: The Hot, The Wacky, and The Chewbaccas

For those lucky enough to attend, Comic Con 2016 did not disappoint. All manner of brilliant and bizarre fans and obsessives descended upon San Diego this past weekend--and their cosplay was on fire. Not only are we in an age of Harley Quinn, we also find ourselves plum in the middle of a Star Wars renaissance. Comic Con moderator Michael Varrati says, "I remember someone once told me that the difference between a 'costume' and 'cosplay' is that cosplay really allows the individual to get lost in the fantasy and embody the character. I love that idea. It takes the notion of fandom to the ultimate level, allowing someone to take something they love and identify with...and actually become that thing, if even briefly."
