i-D Magazine recently released a feature on transgender model, actress and activist Hari Nef.
Hari is both candid and unapologetic. "I'm in therapy, I struggle with anxiety, depressive impulses, and low self esteem," Hari told i-D for the article, which discusses her work with Gucci, her role as Gittel in Amazon's Transparent, and her activism.
In terms of activism, Hari is best known for her TED Talk, "#FreeTheFemme," in which she argues that trans women should not be chastised for their femme aesthetics, whether it's for safety or just because they like it.
