Big Brother Stars Hughie Maughan and Ryan Ruckledge Are Engaged

Gay stars of Big Brother series 17 Hughie Maughan and Ryan Ruckledge announced their engagement over Twitter on Thursday.

The engagement comes four months after the two met in the Big Brother house, which housed two other gay contestants at the time.

They instantly became an online phenomenon as fans fell in love with the relationship.

"I literally idolize him. I love him to bits," Ryan Ruckledge told Star Magazine. "He's so cute and loving."

The couple also want to keep the details of the proposal a secret. Shortly after the announcement they posted: "We don't want to comment on the special crazy moment and how it happened we love you all and we are happy but we want to keep it private X"
