Beyonce's fame has reached such heights that even our superheroes want to be like the Queen Bey.
Comic artist Joe Quinones shared on Twitter Tuesday his cover for Marvel's second issue of America, which features the adventures of queer Latina hero America Chavez. Quninones was inspired by one of many Beyonce looks from her video "Formation"-specifically, the all black dress with the tilted hat.
\u201c"Okay ladies, now let's get in formation." Here's my cover to issue 2 of America for @Marvel #americachavez\u201d— Joe Quinones (@Joe Quinones) 1485279689
"America is a comic that is all about representation, feminism, and fighting for what's right," Quinones told EW. "America Chavez hits hard, looks fabulous, and makes no apologies along the way. I could think of no better parallel than Beyonce."
Marvel will release the comic in March 2017.
Until then, we're sure Bey would approve.
